Run a SmartReport in Sitewise Mobile
The Sitewise mobile application makes it possible for you to create your favorite reports on the go! Just as easy as running a SmartReport on desktop, you can create most reports while out on a Market Tour in a few easy steps.
This article reviews the general steps that are similar for most reports, however, there may be customizations that make running one of your reports slightly different than the steps we have listed below. If you run into any trouble running a report in the mobile app, please reach out to the Sitewise Team.
- Log into your account on the Sitewise mobile app.
- Search for an address or zoom and pan to the site you want to run the report on.
- It's important to zoom in for better accuracy when selecting the site.
- There are a few ways to select the site:
- Click on the Drop Pin tool on the bottom right of your screen, then tap the map to drop the pin.
- Turn on a map layer, such as your store locations, and tap the location icon.
- If you want to run the report on the site you are currently at, you can use the Current Location button to center the map on your current position. Click on the small blue dot.
- After selecting the site, the bottom of the mobile app will change to provide new options. Click on the Reportoption to run a SmartReport.
- In the Create a Report panel, use the dropdown menu to select the desired report and click Next.
- Depending on how the selected report was set up, you’ll now be prompted to fill out a few things:
- Choose the preferred output type, PDF or Excel.
- Add an email to the Report Destination field. This means the report will be sent directly to you even if you log out of Sitewise. We always recommend filling this out.
- If the report requires it there may be a few fields to fill out, such as Name or other site details.
- Once completed, click Next.
- In the final step we'll specify the study areas to run the report on. These may be circles, drivetimes, polygons, or predefined custom trade areas depending on the report set up. Once you're happy with the selection, click Create.
- For some custom reports, study areas are pre-calculated so you might not have an option to choose the study areas. Not sure if this is expected functionality? Reach out to the Sitewise Team.
- Once the report has finished running, you should see a link at the bottom of your screen to view the report.
Tip: Sitewise is optimized to run on the latest version of the application available for download, so it’s always recommended to make sure you are using the most up to date version for iPhone or Android.
