Interface Overview

The Sitewise interface is organized into 4 primary tabs, the Map Tab, Profile Tab, Layout Tab, and My Projects Tab.

Map Tab

This is the default tab that opens when you load Sitewise. It is easily recognizable by the large map that you can navigate and view your data on. The right side of the screen will also contain a Layer Panel that can be toggled on or off to see the available layers of data.

The Show/Hide Map Layers icon lets you toggle the Layers Panel.

Profile Tab

This is where you will view the demographic profile results for any study area that you create. It is solely dedicated to reporting on the data in your loaded demographic database or changing settings for your projects and study areas.

Visit the Study Areas and Projects article category to learn more about study areas and demographic reporting.

Layout Tab

This is an image editing tool for creating high-quality map images to export out of Sitewise for printing or to put into your presentations.

For detailed instructions to get you started in layout, check out our article and training video.

My Projects Tab

This is where you can view the history of all the projects you have created. You can load them to view the study areas again on the map or make edits to do some new reporting.
